On March 20, 2019, SING welcomed 5 startups winners of the contest MOBILELAB'S organized by the University Agency of the Francophonie (AUF), the International Organization of the Francophonie (OIF) and the National Agency of Digital Infrastructures and Frequencies (ANINF). Eleven young people from higher education institutions benefited from a training program organized by the Digital Incubation Society of Gabon. During 6 months, it was about raising awareness of digital business models, passing on model design techniques, teaching them how to present their projects and arguing for fundraising as well as understanding the market and competition.
This program combines theory and practice. From the pitch canvas, to the blue ocean strategy, through the introduction to entrepreneurship and digital marketing, it is in the hands of experts that these young people have received the basics necessary for the development of a model. sound and well structured, while allowing some to have a first prototype of their application.
The program being completed, the closing ceremony was organized Monday, October 28 to award to young people who have followed the entire program of training, their certificates of achievement. It was during this meeting that the audience made up of AUF officials, the OIF, the ANINF and representatives of the institutions was able to attend the pitches of the most dedicated startups: Schoolada and Gadiel.
For the occasion, Mr. Joseph INDJENDJE, Head of the Francophone Digital Campus, gave a speech during which he expressed his emotion about the evolution of the projects and the improvement of the expression of the laureates. He also said that there was a big difference for these startups since they followed the training program proposed by SING. He ended his remarks by saying that after this first experience, the AUF is ready for a new collaboration with the SING.
